The journey so far at Colours Coffee is one rooted in passion and dedication. After soaking up invaluable coffee wisdom from UK Barista Champion Maxwell Colonna, our co-founder Ben Stokes landed his dream job at Colonna and Smalls. It was here that he honed his skills in brewing delicious espresso, pouring perfect flat whites, and mastering the brew bar, all while serving customers with a warm smile. As years passed, Ben’s passion shifted toward roasting coffee, leading him to immerse himself in the art of roasting for four years, even embarking on a transformative trip to Colombia to witness first-hand the care and effort involved in coffee farming.

Feeling inspired by this deep connection to the coffee-growing process, Ben took a leap of faith, leaving Colonna to embark on a new adventure: Colours Coffee. During this time, he moved to Hullavington, where he forged a friendship with the brewers and owners of the Flying Monk Brewery, sharing a mutual passion for creating the perfect brew. It was a natural fit for Colours Coffee to find its home in this vibrant community.

Today, Ben brings over a decade of experience and passion to Colours Coffee, a roastery dedicated to showcasing exceptional coffees and making the world of specialty coffee more approachable for all. "I'm so excited to put all of my passion and knowledge into something I can truly call my own," says Ben.
