About the farm:
This Natural Yirgacheffe Chelbesa comes from the Worka Chelbesa area of Ethiopia’s Gedeb district, a high-altitude, semi-forested region known for exceptional coffee. Grown between 1,950 and 2,200 meters and harvested from November to January, the coffee is produced by a group of smallholder farmers.
Ripe cherries are processed at SNAP Specialty Coffee’s Danche wet mill using the natural method, then slowly dried on raised beds for approximately 12 days. The result is a clean, expressive cup that reflects the unique terroir of Chelbesa.
A very delicate and clean cup, fresh sweet blueberry and citrus with a creamy buttercream finish.
