About the farm:

Papua New Guinea is a unique island nation, situated on the eastern reaches of the Indonesian archipelago. Home to nearly 7 million people with 800 different languages, PNG really is a nation secluded from the rest of the world, and a land of tribes.

The Madan estate was founded in 1964 and the name refers to a small hill located within the farmland. It was in 2003 when Highlands Arabicas ltd took over the estate and began to rebuild and restore the farm to its former glory, and since 2022 Mr Peter Pena took over and has been producing the coffee that we know and love today.

This is a layered cup with a lovely golden acidity like that of candied fruits and peel with a beautifully long Assam tea like finish.
