About the farm:
This vibrant Nandi PB lot from Lot 20 is a great example of the innovation and momentum coming out of western Kenya right now. Produced in Nandi County, where Lot 20 focuses on beautifully clean washed coffees, this lot reflects both careful processing and the dedication of the farmers who deliver their cherries to the station.
To improve quality and consistency, Lot 20 recently invested in new eco dryers across their processing sites. These large polytunnel-style drying structures work a bit like greenhouses, trapping warmth to encourage steady drying while protecting coffee from sudden rain. While these dryers are set to play a bigger role in future harvests, this PB lot still showcases the precision and care the team brings to every step of processing.
The harvest has also been a landmark one for the Lot 20 team. They’ve just celebrated an incredible milestone of over 1,000,000 kg of cherries received this season, highlighting the strong relationships they’ve built with local farmers.
The result is coffees like this Nandi PB: expressive, carefully produced, and a reflection of a community committed to quality.
